- All nationalities are eligible for the scholarship.
- An Honours (Highest Distinction) or equivalent at Bachelor's level.
- Candidates who have not yet completed their undergraduate degree must provide official documentation from their university confirming they are on track to graduate with an Honours (Highest Distinction) degree or equivalent.
- The award is tenable for one year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress. The maximum period of the Scholarship is 4 years for PhD candidates, as determined by school as well as availability of research funding in each case.
- Outstanding Bachelor degree or final-year status meeting NTU PhD admission requirements.
- Must meet NTU postgraduate research admission language requirements.
